The Color Distillery Hair Lounge was established in November of 2019. Its name stemming from owner, Kara Afualo’s past of working in the craft cocktail industry. The reflections of the liquor bottles mimic that of beautifully glossed hair; how could we resist combining the flair of these two innovative industries!
We believe that your hair is your cover story, the first impression, so we want you feeling your most confident, in and out of the salon. At TCD hair lounge, a fun and comfortable experience is our ultimate goal. While we all work under the same roof, each stylist works as an independent contractor. Why is this important to know? Our stylists are happy to accommodate couples or families in the same timeline however, each stylist has a different scheduling system. Online booking is a great option but for more complicated or group bookings, please feel free to email one of us directly!
Our salon space is made up of 4 station with extra large, cushy seating, 2 full lounge back shampoo bowls and a gorgeous, gender neutral bathroom. We happily provide complimentary snacks & beverages ranging from trail mix and popcorn, to Topo Chico waters, coffee and a variety of sodas. For extra long appointments, we encourage bringing your own lunch/snacks or ordering delivery from any of the nearing restaurants.
